Audience participation needed

Time and time again we like to challenge our audience. We enjoy asking scientific questions in such a way that even scientists will be sent into a tailspin, although the answers are not so complicated.
In a normal stage show the audience is quite often asked to vote for one answer or the other by a show-of-hands; in dinner shows we have teams in the audience competing against each other.
