Polarizing Filter

In the stage area an LED light box (100 cm x 50 cm) is set up, on which nothing can be seen. Only when a polarizing filter is held in front of the box you can see the motif on the light box. In this way we can let your customer logo appear!

How does it work?
There is a polarizing filter foil on the light box, which only lets through light with a certain direction of oscillation (polarization). The naked eye cannot see the polarization of the light. However, if a second crossed polarizing filter is held in front of the box, the light is greatly attenuated.
The logo is cut from tape and glued onto a transparent Plexiglas plate. If you hold it between the two polarizing filters, it becomes visible all at once. In fact, the sellotape rotates the light's direction of oscillation by 90 degrees so that it can shine through the second filter.
